We should be Grateful for what We Have—Even if it’s Not Much.

Sometimes, I don’t understand those around me.

Is it so difficult for them to be grateful? They are too busy checking and admiring other people’s gardens and forgetting their own. Each has its own story, so why compare ours with theirs?

If we are given stories like them, then our decisions will not necessarily be much better than theirs.

Why not learn to be grateful for what we have now?

If our current situation is bad, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will forever remain bad.

Also, if the situation is good now, then it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will forever give us happiness.

In life, there are ups and downs. Learn to accept the situation and reality. I agree that sometimes problems can come in succession and make our heads feel like it’s about to explode. But that doesn’t mean we have to give in to the situation or keep blaming the situation.

Even in the most difficult circumstances, there is sometimes meaning behind everything that happens. If only we would calm ourselves down, not be affected by the situation, and try to be peaceful, I think there will definitely be a way out for the existing problems.

I would be lying if I said it would be easy to control ourselves and not be triggered by anger or other people’s emotions. But that would be much better than making the wrong decision and ending up with much worse consequences.

Everyone has their own point of view. I still believe that God exists. I’m sure there’s a purpose behind everything that happens. I’m sure even if He gives me problems or complicated situations, I can still find a way out.

He will not give trials to His people if His people are not able to live their life. For me in life, these are trials that will continue to come. It doesn’t mean that there is no happiness.

Only I can create happiness for myself. I am the one who decides my story, and I decide where my life will take me. Whether my decision is good or bad, I am the one who will ultimately hold the responsibility for everything in my story.

Whether it’s something good or bad in your life, in the end, you will end up feeling it. May your decision be right or wrong, time will show all of that to you.

So, instead of fixating on other people’s gardens, it’s better to think about our own, how to be happy with ourselves, how to be grateful with all that we have, how to live what is in our story, and how to strengthen ourselves when trials come to whack us.
