An After Valentine’s Day Love Tune-Up.

“You have within you more love than you could ever understand.” ~ Rumi

~

Even though Valentine’s Day is in the rear-view mirror now, we know the truth.

Love isn’t a one-day affair.

Love needs to be our mantra and our life compass every day.

The saying “peace begins with me” works hand in hand with the saying “love begins with me.”

Be the love you pray for in the world and shine your love everywhere.

Shine it by offering your warm smile, eye contact, and an open heart. And yes. Remember to give yourself the same kindness and compassion you offer others.

If you have an unexpected conversation with a stranger, don’t rush away after the conversation ends.

Ask their name. Tell them yours. Connect. Add the niceties in life, too.

Tell that person that it was nice to meet them and to have a good day. It’ll make them feel that all is right with the world after all.

Here’s a thought. Stay a moment longer to listen to one of their many life stories. If there’s time, share yours, too.

As the book Heart-Dreamer says, “We often forget that every human being is a pulse, a name, and a life story waiting to be heard.”

Let’s listen to one another with love. It will bring humility, emotional expansion, and grace to our lives. The world is full of shocking news. We are the good news we’ve been waiting for.

Stand for love, no matter what.

In a world of discrimination, injustice, murder, rape, climate change, and war, we are all desperate for deeper connections. We are all desperate to give and receive love.

Every choice we make in life either raises or lowers the vibration in ourselves, in each other, and in the world. It is up to us to make a difference on our planet by creating a positive energy field wherever we go.

Suspend your judgment of others, and treat people with love, kindness, forgiveness, empathy, and compassion.

Be open to receiving love, too. Don’t push it away. Open your heart to receiving all the good you so richly deserve. Breathe love into every one of your cells. Heal.

Open your heart, and when you think it’s open, allow it to expand even more.

When you wake up in the morning, place the palm of your hand on your heart and breathe into it. As you inhale, think the word, love. As you exhale, think the word, love.

 The Love Tune-Up.

Actionable tools to keep love expanding from inside-out and outside-in.

The AHH sound of love.

Did you sing your AHH sound yet? When you sing “AHH,” the open vowel tone vibrates your heart space. A simple “AHH” will do this, and in fact, Valentine’s Day was World Sound Healing Day. At an appointed time, the whole world sang “AHH” together in unity. In tune. Out of tune. It didn’t matter. It doesn’t matter.

Keep singing your “AHH” sound to open your heart’s fourth chakra, vibrate wellness, and embody love.

How’s your love letter going?

You know. The one you wrote to yourself on Valentine’s Day? Didn’t have time or the desire? Well, like I said, every day is Valentine’s Day, and the sooner you write yourself a love letter, the better you’ll feel about yourself.

Think about all the tough times. Because of your determination, strength, and courage, you found a way to transcend those challenges. Instead of allowing your inner critic to chastise you, how about figuring out what is right about you and write that love letter as soon as possible. Deal? Deal.

Spread love wherever you go.

If writing isn’t a preference of yours, find other ways to give yourself a self-love boost. Look in the mirror with the eyes and heart of love. Say good things to your spirit. Don’t look at those wrinkles or flaws. Look at yourself with kindness and understanding.

Keep tuning up your love quotient, and I will, too.

Love is the only power and the only way toward inner peace and peace in our world. Thank you for doing all you can do to “be love, shine love, spread love, and stand for love.”
