Forgiveness Can Change Everything.

“Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.” ~ Jonathan Huie

The True Power of Forgiveness

A lot of people think that when they forgive someone, they are doing it for the benefit of the person they are forgiving. But that’s not really it at all. As the quote I ́ve shared above by Jonathan Huie points out: the true power of forgiveness is in helping you find peace within yourself.

Peace of Mind & Spirit

Words and actions have the power to hurt. When something someone says or does hurts you, the best thing you can do is to release that pain and hurt and allow yourself to forgive them.

I get that it’s really, really hard. I ́ve been there. And, because I have, I also know it can be done.

For your sake, I hope that you’ll allow yourself this gift.

Make Forgiveness A Daily Practice

There have been a few things and people in my life that I’ve needed to forgive. Chances are, it’s the same for you.

And, while I’ve forgiven them all, the most important person I’ve forgiven is myself. In my experience, that was the most difficult to do.

What a Gift!

Learning to let go and forgive has been a challenging lesson, I ́ll tell you that. And yet, it’s been one of the most powerful and beneficial lessons I’ve learned in my lifetime

…not to mention one of the most powerful things I´ve ever chosen to do for myself!

“To forgive is to set a prisoner free, only to discover that the prisoner was you.” ~ Lewis B. Smedes

Is there someone in your life who could use forgiving? You, perhaps?

Give it a try. I promise you, you regret it.
