My body is small.
Quantifiably dimensional
And comfortably contained
In the confines of arbitrary construct.
An amoeba among amoeba—
View me through the microscope
And I’ll blend right in.
My body is small,
But my heart—
My heart encompasses oceans.
An abundant ecosystem of flora and fauna,
An ever-expansive expedition
Explored only by those built to withstand
The pressure.
Champions, man, and marine
Who brave the perilous plunge
Bear witness to the marvel.
A diver’s paradise.
My body is small,
But my heart—
Even Poseidon bows in reverence.
