Most pretentious job title of all-time? “Senior Cognitive Anthropologist, in the Cultural and Business Insights Group.”

“Senior Cognitive Anthropologist, in the Cultural and Business Insights Group.”

Saw this most impressive job title on the home page of a good conference we’ve been invited to attend and cover (that also features our friend, the lovely Olivia Zaleski):

Well, to be fair, one man’s “pretentious” is another man’s “impressive.” Considering how genuinely cool Kingsbury is—he commutes a kajillion miles each morning over hill and dale and lake via bike, and he helped institute Denver’s bike-sharing program, both of which we previously reported on here and here, I’m gonna go with “impressive.”
