Imagine being 14 years old in 1969, and sneaking into John Lennon’s hotel room in Toronto with your reel-to-reel tape recorder and asking him to do an interview with you….That is exactly what Beatles lover Jerry Levitan did. Now, 40 years later, Levitan brought together a fantastic director (Josh Raskin) and a super talented illustrator (James Braithwaite) to animate the interview and create a beautiful short film, “I Met The Walrus” with a chillingly relevant message.
I love the part where John tells us to do everything for PEACE; “Piss for peace, Smile for peace, Go to the store for peace, Don’t go to the store for peace…” Please take a moment to hear the touching wisdom from one of my gurus, and I promise you will be moved by its immensely creative message.
