Evol Burritos: Parents will “love” ‘em, kids will eat them.

Evol Burritos‘ appeal is perfectly encapsulated by their name: L-O-V-E, backward.
Parents will love that they’re healthy, natural, sometimes organic, convenient, affordable, and yummy.
Kids will think they’re “evil,” bad-ass, cool, yummy, and they’ll eat them.
My mom, a single parent, worked two jobs and was often so tired when she got home it was all she could do stay awake while standing while cooking me dinner. So she cooked simple meals. Whether or not your familial situation is equally stretched, it’s likely that you parents out there could use some help come lunch box-packing time. Problem solved.
Best of all from ele’s pov, Evol includes humanely-raised, free-range, antibiotic-free meats. The cruelty in the conventional animal factory world is startling, horrific—we’ve all seen those PETA videos, but how many of us have made it through even one? I haven’t, and I try once a week (I’m vegetarian, as it happens, but largely for environmental reasons).

We reviewed every style or flavor of Evol’s burritos, and can say that they’re all quality, hand-made from scratch with fresh ingredients. As the founders say, they’re trying to bring a bit of the foodie Michael Pollan or Alice Waters ethos to the frozen food section, where traditionally healthy food goes to die.
So support this young, worthy company—whatever your age, you’ll L-O-V-E ‘em.
Evol is available at Whole Foods, Vitamin Cottage and most Kind Soopers stores.

Am I the only one that believes that naming your product "evol" the phonetic equivalent of "evil," is a really dumb idea?
It appears so
I think it’s a great idea. Look at a product like Monster energy drinks. There doing well with a non-conventional name. Also, it’s evol is love backwards. if anything, it’s nice!
I didn't even think "love backwards" when I saw them. I thought it was short for evolve…since some animal rights groups have said we evolved into not needing to eat meat or to at least treat animals ethically.
Anyway, I think they are the frozen-equivalent of Chipotle. They are delicious and the tortilla is amazing!
