Every time I travel to a new city I am always in love with it for a little while. In Florida especially I never get tired of the sunshine, the clear water and the open skies. Sometimes I fly thousands of miles to share the healing power of yoga with new students. And sometimes I just drive up the beautiful Florida coast.
This weekend was just a drive a little bit north of my home in Miami’s South Beach to Red Pearl Yoga just blocks from beautiful low-key Ft. Lauderdale Beach in Florida. The amazing thing about Florida is its endless miles of coast. No matter where you go in this gorgeous state there is a beach waiting for you just around the corner. Red Pearl Yoga is located right on the water, not the beach, but one of the many waterways near the coast, and just minutes from the beach.
People came from all over Florida and there were even a few visitors from Asia, all the way from Hong Kong!
