“Green” isn’t about “the environment.”
It’s about “our” environment—the air we breathe, the water we depend upon, the poisons our children and pets are exposed to on our home’s floors and our yards. Mountaintop removal is a wonderful, terrible example of what happens when we leave our lights on and our AC on and our doors open. We need energy. Coal gives us energy. Coal, however, robs ordinary Americans of their health and property rights.
It’s yet another case where an “environmental” cause is a “human” cause.
The first two videos, below, are four years old. Since that time, a total of 500 mountains have been disappeared, poisoning the lives of locals.
