“How do you hear ‘All faiths are welcome’ as ‘No faiths are welcome? If it makes you feel any better, if JFK were alive today, knowing you were running for President would make him sh*t his pants.” Turning accusations of elitism from elites and snobbery from snobs into funny? Served: Take this: And, that:

Pero lo que yo no sabía eran los detalles exactos del algoritmo, cómo se calcularon, y lo que podría haber sido la posible motivación de Facebook para socavar fundamentalmente lo que se gana el pan, los anunciantes.”

How often do we use words to hide the pain we hold in our hearts?
When in doubt do nothing. More difficult to sit with something that hurts. Much easier to explain it away, cover it up and go with the flow.

I feel a sort of slow panic rising in my chest. I’m 37 weeks pregnant; that’s considered ‘term’. The baby could come any day now. I’m torn. Obviously I’m excited to meet my child, but I’m worried about what’s coming. A tiny little human completely dependent upon its mummy and daddy to care for it. What if we get it all wrong? What if we have no idea what we’re doing?

But rather than stay with your awareness focused on where the feeling is arising within you, your attention travels outward instead, toward an external cause. Blame of another swoops in, steals away your logic, and drops it on the doorstep of your mother, father, friend, boss, and so on. And if you should act on your unexamined feelings directed externally in this way, the consequences will be—without doubt— misaligned with dharma. You’ll suffer.

Davy Jones died this afternoon of an apparent heart attack.
There were never controversies surrounding him—except the big one: The Monkees never sang their songs, they were only lip-syncing. This was never proven, but imagine that was the only dirt ever associated with them.

Living Foods are fermented foods like yogurt, homemade sauerkraut or cheese. These foods have enzymes in them so they aid digestion, and they provide healthy Probiotics. Probiotics are the healthy bacteria we need in our gut to support healthy bowel movements, prevent IBS, and keep our immune system healthy. Use them as condiments by adding a little bit to each meal.

I spent an outrageous amount of money on food and jumped on many health bandwagons; vegetarianism, veganism, raw foodism. In my fridge you would always find kale, bee pollen, spirulina, chlorella, hemp seeds, freshly ground flax seeds, aloe vera, bentonite clay and of course the vitamix with leftover green smoothie.

The story has been told before, in a memoir, in interviews, at lectures, teacher trainings, midnight conversations with strangers on lonely flights across the country, a thousand threads of the same narrative reframed in dialog, inner monologue, committed to the page (digitial and acid free paper). It has become stale, tired in my own mouth. The one constant is the emotional subtext, that is never insipid, it is still full of blood.

Whether you decide to remain with Anusara or not is not the issue. It is a catastrophe of leadership that you haven’t even been given factual information on which to base your thinking.
