Balm For Longing. ~ Melanie Murphy Myer {Poem}

Via Melanie Murphy Myeron Sep 2, 2013

Lovers

Who am I to say

this man
hung the moon and stars
and no other exists
in the entire world
who can capture me
body and soul?

Who am I to think

I know
every remarkable lover
who wanders the earth,
to know there is no other
whose heartbeat harmonizes
the beat of my own?

    Wow. Powerfully expressed, Melanie! Don't know that I would be so secure to express these thoughts.
