The space between us is vast, yet full of promise.

The wind stretches across the landscape of the past, present and future and the air is quiet and still.

We find in these moments no words, for our sense of being is written in the stars, the shape of the clouds, the lines of the wide open spaces before us.

These photographs made by Toronto-based photographer Craig Kelman are breathtaking and in their creation lies a craft of seeing and feeling that is unique to the mind’s eye of every artist.

Intimate in their enormity, I want to stand in each photograph and allow my lungs to fill with breath and with the understanding that everything is possible.
