Welcome to September’s Eclipse Season—Anything is Possible.

*Eleditor’s note: Astrology isn’t a religion. We’re not sure it’s a science, either. It’s magic, maybe. But, as with feng shui, say, things affect things. So as long as we don’t go blaming our problems on the stars, as long as we assume responsibility for our own actions…well, hell, a little auspicious coincidence and applicable wisdom can’t hurt. And so, with that grain of salt…enjoy!

“What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.” ~ Tony Robbins

Are you ready to get everything you ever wanted?

September is eclipse season and by the end of the month our lives may look dramatically different than they do right now.

For once it’s not about us foiling our plans with fears and excuses, but rather making choices that are based in emotional maturity and a healthy mindset, because this eclipse season is all about things that are meant for us appearing.

There is something that we all have overlooked from our past because we moved on too quickly. Perhaps we weren’t meant to move on or maybe we have just missed some important lessons and information; regardless something is coming back up for review during this season.

The stage being set for a solar eclipse on September 1st—the New Moon in Virgo crosses the sun, also in Virgo.

Virgo is an Earth sign—a detail oriented sign that enjoys attention to organization and making sure that tasks are completed correctly. Virgos don’t rush into things headfirst, only to regret their decisions later—it’s this careful, plotting and meticulous energy that we will all be feeling as we start a new lunar cycle and find ourselves in the shadow of the sun.

This solar eclipse will only be visible from Africa, the sky will not become darkened anywhere else, and instead a thin ring of light will be visible around the shadow of the new moon. Whether we see the beautiful show or not, we will all experience the effects of the eclipse—we realize that we were on the wrong track with our priorities.

Virgos love to solve problems, and with the sun and moon both being in this sign during the solar eclipse suggests that there is something deeply rooted to our past that needs to be reviewed and corrected.

We made a wrong choice.

Not because it wasn’t what we needed to experience, but because now is the time to get back to where we should have been all along. Sometimes we need to take the long road, and while it was valuable, it’s time to venture off on another path.

While we may still stumble upon how to best express what is in our hearts, we are being gently sent in the direction of what is meant for us. Together with the eclipses, the maiden Virgo is going to help us sort out the confusion in our minds so that we might get down to what really matters—what has always mattered to us, but perhaps we had told ourselves reasons why it shouldn’t.

New moons are a time for new beginnings, and whatever begins anew from our past during this time will be done thoughtfully, without urgency, and in the way that it is meant to be.

During the past year may of us have felt the separation of what is real and what isn’t—but it is also about what limits we place upon our own beliefs about what is possible. Do we settle for what confines us, or do we let ourselves be pulled by what inspires us? Do we live safely within boundaries, or do we risk it all for a dream? With the influences of the eclipses this month we will feel the pull toward the life we want—instead of just following the safest option.

All of our old storylines are just that—they don’t serve us any longer; we know that we have grown beyond our fears and this month is all about connecting the dots so that we can finally see the larger picture.

This thought process will continue until the Full Moon and lunar eclipse in Pisces. During this transit the sun will still be in Virgo, keeping careful watch that whatever we do is done correctly, to complement the fantasy atmosphere of a Pisces moon.

Pisces are the dreamers of the zodiac, especially when it seems that life is too much to take. They believe in the impossible, and above all they value love and the truth within their hearts the most. This heart-centered energy will wash us in the waves of this Piscean eclipse.

When the skies go dark, and everything else is stripped away, what shines the brightest for you?

Pisces often seem too good to be true—but what if that’s really not the case?

Our reality is as good as it gets, if we make the choice to believe in it.

Sometimes believing is seeing. In this case, it’s good timing us to open our eyes to what is possible when we start believing that we deserve it all.

After the eclipse, we will begin to feel the dust settling.

Think of this month as a snow globe, now is the time when we have to ready ourselves for the spontaneous change, because in a few days our only option will be to just go with the flow.

And once the waves have stopped, we need to give ourselves some time to see where things have wound up.

We will have to adjust to new way life will look, knowing that we are ready for it all. The only thing will have to do is believe that we are ready.

Because sometimes the simplest truth is that we will never get what we want until we still believe that we can have it.
