We’re in the advertising business. It’s the (veggie diesel) gas in the the tank that keeps elephantjournal.com humming. So we always love seeing an ad that 1) offers something we actually might want or need, that’s good for us and the planet and 2) has a sense of humor, that greatest of all spiritual attributes.

In that spirit, check out Udi’s, a Colorado-based natural foods company. Even if you might not see the above ad—this one via buddies Etai and Ericin a real magazine time soon.

I love seeing advertising and marketing that encourages people to think, and have a sense of humor about the world, rather than just shoving new thoughts and ideas down our throats. Ads have such power to influence, it’s great to see a smart one.

Whew, her interview on the CBS Early Show was “interesting.” (Add all the air quotes you can imagine here.)

I had Udi’s granola for breakfast. Yum!
Maybe if this angry and hateful woman really did eat some Udi’s, she would not be so hideously skinny and mean.

  4. Eric Peltier says:

Why does the mainstream media give this woman the attention she so DESPERATELY wants???? I'm not bagging on Udi's, but am bagging on all the talk shows that have her on to let her spew her filth.
