An elephantjournal.com sponsored event.

“Looking for something fun and romantic to do on Valentine’s Day? How about taking your loved one to prom? This Saturday, February 14th at 8 o’clock, the 9th Annual Valentine’s Day Prom will commence at the
Millennium Hotel in Boulder.

Come join us in recreating the classic high school prom experience, with prom pictures, a king and queen,
ball gowns and tuxedos, chaperons, disco balls and all of the other traditional aspects of a high school prom. All attendees are encouraged to take their partner out to dinner and present them with an elegant corsage of flowers to enhance the authenticity of the prom recreation.

This prom, with its humble beginnings in a freshman dorm room 9 years ago, has now evolved into a grand tradition and must attend event. Throughout the years, this prom has brought hundreds of friends and
couples together to celebrate their love while changing the world through supporting a local nonprofit with the event proceeds. This year Valentine’s Day Prom is supporting the Women’s Bean Project. The
Women’s Bean Project, a Denver-based non-profit, helps women break the cycle of poverty and unemployment through teaching job readiness and life skills for entry-level jobs through employment in gourmet food production business. This organization truly transforms women’s lives and helps them towards self sufficiency.

Please join us in continuing this grand tradition. It will be an unforgettable night of dancing and celebration to support the Women’s Bean Project.”
