How do you make a football stadium zero waste? Easy, you change everything! University of Colorado at Boulder’s Recycling Program at Folsom Field is an inspiration to visionary recyclers everywhere! (And my friend, Sarahdawn Haynes truly is! She’s in the video.)**And check out the CU students sorting through the trash! *Awesome!

  1. Mom says:

Dont worry, my family recycles nothing. We drink all our water out of plastic bottles. So, I fee like I am helping to balance things out.

  2. JoanaSmith says:

I know people like you. You are everywhere! I live in Houston, TX, and it seems like you non-recyclers are all I ever meet!
Where do you suppose all your stuff is going? Do you ever think about it?
Some of it goes to the ocean,
did you know there is an island of trash in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that is twice the size
of Texas? Do you know that it is mostly made of plastic? Did you know that they're finding out now that certain types
of plastic cause cancer? breast cancer? ever heard of dioxins? or how about that 10 year old girl in California who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer?
I think we need a LOT more people on the side of recycling before things even begin to balance out.
