“A Stroke of Insight.”

So the two most pervasive themes in my writings are the immense potential we as human beings possess, and the intelligent side of suffering. I wish more than anything to awaken in those who read my blog a profound appreciation for the creative intelligence that is our inheritance as human beings. I also hope that those who read this blog are encouraged to listen to their suffering, as it is suffering that seeks to discover this intelligence…

The following video encapsulates these two intentions, and articulates them within the context of an amazing story. Jill Bolte Taylor describes the incredible potential embedded in the human condition, and the suffering that led her to its discovery in user-friendly terms.
