From me to you.

1. You get what you need, not what you want.

2. The universe will never give you anything you can’t handle.

3. There is so much love within every single one of us, it’s difficult to grasp. So much love. Love is always here. It can never be lost.

3. Allow yourself to be vulnerable. Risk getting your heart broken. It’s worth it.

4. The earth is part of us, as much as we are a part of it. Caring for nature means caring for ourselves.

5. Move past your fears. They are here for you to learn. Let go, and only love remains.

About Rachel Brathen

Rachel is a yogi on a world tour. Born and raised in Sweden, she currently resides in the beautiful island of Aruba where she is busy teaching yoga at a resort in the mornings, coordinating retreats at noon, taking her three somewhat crazy dogs to the beach to keep up with the surf in the afternoon and trying to survive as a vegan (where no vegetables grow!) in the evenings. She firmly believes that life is not black or white – it’s black and white and blue and yellow with rays of pink and sparkle in between. You can teach yoga and still be a party animal. Meditate and ignore your spending problems. Be vegan and eat too much chocolate. Have a Swedish passport and live in the Caribbean. You can do anything, as long as it’s you! You can find Rachel on the beach, probably practicing her Astavakrasana, or on facebook.com/rachelsyoga.

Hi thank you for the list. I disagree that you will not receive more than you can handle.
Sadly that is one reason a lot of people commit suicide.

  2. Ronin says:

::silence between us:: My throat hurts and I'm trying my best to keep my emotions in check. I decide to break the silence," Even at your lowest, you have to look for something." She keeps looking at me, silent tears stream down her face. I stare back at her, " You'll know when you find it when you are willing to fight for it…no matter what, you keep finding something to fight for"

we do not have same beliefs or philosophy in life. But I agree with the article. like what I've said earlier, its in the person's beliefs. I wish we just share same beliefs. 🙂
