Today on Facebook Live, Waylon discussed the topic of compassion.

“Compassion is not having any hesitation to reflect your light on things.” ~ Chögyam Trungpa

Compassion is the recognition of basic goodness and that when we cling to positivity, ignore the good and the bad, and act out of aggression, we are acting out of the antithesis of a compassionate life.

Genuine compassion is an act of expression that comes without the expectation or attachment to the outcome of how that compassion should be received.

We can express compassion in our lives, in our families, in our relationships, eco-compassion in our homes and in our world.

The presence of gated communities, hospitals and senior communities speaks to our inclination to push away the negative and the positive of an attachment to a life of compassion and basic goodness.
