How to become a real, actual, successful Writer (how to fail, & other tips with Ada Calhoun).

Ada Calhoun, author of Wedding Toasts I’ll Never Give and St. Marks Is Dead, recently joined our Elephant Academy crew as a guest writing professor. We were honored to hear from her about her path as an essayist and an author. She shared with us her story and her tips on how to make it (and break it) in print and online publishing, as well as in the world of book writing.

Talking to Ada about her writing felt as homey as talking to a friend at a café. As a writer, Ada is unaffected and unpretentious. Her writing is rich in specifics, genuine heart, and humor.

You can join in on these meetings this fall and begin a mindful path of communication, mentoring with Elephant Editors, including Waylon Lewis. Expand your current career or begin a new one—learn to rock social media, blogging, writing, and journalism. Click here for more info.
