You’re Expecting ? Practice These Yoga Practices During Pregnancy

YOGA FOR PREGNANCY

Pregnancy is also known as gestation. During pregnancy a women’s body goes through many changes and each stage of pregnancy brings different issues and concerns for a women. It is very important for women to be fit and healthy during her pregnancy and yoga is the perfect way to keep healthy body and mind for pregnant women and baby. Here are some yoga poses which every woman must practice during her pregnancy.

 

YOGA POSES DURING PREGNANCY

Baddha Konasana (Cobblers pose): For improving the reproductive system’s health, this is one of the most chosen techniques by yoga lovers. Regular practice of this posture helps in improving blood circulation inside the body and calming down of the mind. This yoga posture helps in opening the pelvis which in turns helps in the fast and easy labor.

Konasana-I (Standing Sideways Bending One Arm): This exercise stretches the sides of our body and helps in alleviating constipation. Konasana also helps in keeping the spine flexible.

Konasana-II (Standing Sideways Using Both Arms): This yoga pose is very helpful in exercises, toning, and stretching of spines, legs, arms, and the abdominal organs.

Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep) : Yoga Nidra helps in regulating blood pressure, stress, anxiety, and tension which is very essential during the pregnancy stage. This yoga pose relaxes every cell of our body deeply.

Virabhadrasana 1 ( Warrior I Pose): This yoga pose focuses on the upper part of the body by opening up your chest. It also strengthens your legs and helps in resorting your spinal health. This pose is very useful for pregnant women as it helps in making space for the uterus to grow. Apart from these benefits, this yoga asana maintains your body balance and keep your mind calm and relax.

 

Virabhadrasana -2(Warrior II Pose): This yogic pose renders the strength to the legs and core especially along with lengthening your spine. Although a bit challenging one, still backache which is one of the common problems during pregnancy can be cure by this asanas.

Vrikshasana or Tree Pose: Tree pose is a safe yoga pose during pregnancy and strengthen your legs.

Cat-Cow Pose: The Cat-Cow Pose also works to relieve lower back pain, but while pregnancy, this yoga posture will help in providing strength to your belly.
