Here’s a short poem I wrote a while ago. It’s been sat on my hard drive for a while, so I thought I would share it here. I hope you enjoy!
Me After Me
Look around
And what do you see
Frown after frown
Me after me
The secrets around
For all to see
But people are blind
Me after me
What do you want
In the life that you lead
Grab what you want?
Or plant a seed?
Love is the answer
We often say
But nobody’s listening
And no one will play
The secrets around you
And it’s within
Silence your mind
Quieten the din
Love with your heart
And not with your mind
And then you can start
To help mankind
Cos helping another
Is helping yourself
Don’t chase after money
Go for the wealth
