Sometimes the warmest messages come from unexpected places.
Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr.—better known as the star rapper, Snoop Dogg—sends a heartwarming message of encouragement to his fans. But instead of using one of his hits, he showed his softer side by jamming to the beat of Elsa’s “Let It Go” from the movie, “Frozen.”
“I had to come sit in my car and listen to this sh*t man, let it go,” he said.
We’re all struggling with COVID-19, but it was incredibly powerful to see even Snoop Dogg fall under the spell of “Frozen,” because we all need to let it go and just be ourselves.
As one commenter says, “Like the rest of us, Snoop Dogg is having all the feels. He is not the hero we asked for, nor is he the hero we deserved, but he is—the hero we need.” ~ “tiger king” yuetsu, Twitter
“Let it go. We’ll be outside soon,” he told us. I hope so, but until then we could all try to let it go and bop to “Frozen” right along with Snoop.
His video has gone viral as he proved he’s as human as the rest of us—it’s exactly the video we all need to see:
