Dig Deep & Go Slow: Listening to the Language of Nature. {Poem}

There is a web that weaves us,

into the laws of Nature.

We are wrapped into her fabric,

interconnected to all.

Just as the wind whispers, and the mornings become crisper,

we’re reminded that as every season ends, another begins.

The Earth keeps catching our fall,

but at the same time keeps reminding us we can’t have it all.

We think change is the enemy, but it’s happening already,

and although the constructs are crumbling,

something in us holds steady.

Do you ever notice the way Nature pulls us close,

in the moments we need her most?

The wisdom of the Earth is seen in every birth,

but we keep skirting around goodbyes, as if we can defy time.

We were born with wisdom in our bones, lifetimes of resilience,

and the inner-reserves to know,

that to find truth of our own,

we must at times go at it alone.

Dig deep, go slow.

In the pause we find gold, a gentle reminder to let go.

We realize holding on so tight won’t give us more control.

And here in this space we are riding the wave, breathing in,

while Nature keeps rolling out change.

Keep breathing,

trust in her embrace.

Earth is calling us home,

there is a steadiness in this place.
