In A Little While -Memories Of Love

Photo by Nubia Navarro (nubikini) on Pexels.

“Breathe”- she says, the pain will subside in just a little while. Exhale, it’s all we have.”

U2’s music wafts and fills the air.
I write in the morning and I’m transported back – time is irrelevant.

Grief recons – before Grief I stand naked in my disbelief , alone

“Unpack the suitcase” says Grief

Unpack and breathe

Grief has been visiting for sometime now in the shadows of the night and moments between night and day we sit .

I dance with grief

I melt as the music softens my weary heart

I’ve unpacked the suitcase , I whisper

Breathing deep I surrender

I melt and in stillness sink down

As Bono sings “ the night takes a deep breathe”

I’m coming down

Love will always be found

My Love – love is all around
