When Forward Is the Only Way

As we learned last year how there are moments in time, when everything can change for the worse. There are moments when the opposite, good comes into play and takes over. Pay attention to these moments.

It can be a time when you finally decide to leave a destructive relationship, or a job that has lost its meaning. When you finally have enough of your own procrastination and pick up whatever you had been putting aside.

For me, all of the above has happened. And what is common with all of these three turning points in my life is the following. For years I had taken preparatory steps, from planning to studying to seeing a therapist, to fantasizing of what would come after. Subconsciously or by some coincidental act in this cosmic play which we all are a part of, I had also attracted people who could support me in my transition.

When the moment came for the change to happen, it came with force. As if every cell in me was setting things in motion. And when I took the first step, there was no turning back. I was on it. On my way, and even I couldn’t have stopped myself.

It was as if I was not even the doer, but some force had taken over me. I was just witnessing what was happening. These are moments in time, which have energy that I’m still unable to fully comprehend. But I was taking note.

Notice the moments that transform your life. Pay attention to what got you there. Because when you start to pay attention, you will learn how to repeat this pattern when it’s necessary again.
