What happens if I eat too many biotin gummies?

Biotin is an essential B vitamin that helps the body get energy and nutrients from carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Some people recommended biotin to aid hair growth, but there is no clinical evidence to back this up.

Along with other B complex vitamins, biotin is required for healthy hair, skin, and eyes  it’s also important for healthy nervous system function.

It is quite rare to be deficient in biotin, as many foods contain biotin. Some of the richest food sources of biotin include eggs, meat (including organ meats), fish, nuts, and seeds.

Symptoms of biotin deficiency may include dry skin, hair loss, fatigue, swollen tongue, dry eyes, insomnia, and depression.

Gummy you may be familiar with the following scene: It’s the end of the day, and you’re exhausted, but your kids suddenly remember that they haven’t taken their tasty biotin gummies. They remind you, and you pass them their one gummy (or two, if that’s the correct dosage), and watch as they happily chew on the candy-like supplement.

Biotin deficiency is rare, so the Food and Drug Administration doesn’t offer a recommended dietary allowance (RDA). RDAs can vary based on a person’s age, sex, and overall health. Dosage should be one gummies in a day.

Instead, experts recommended the following dosage guidelines. Anyone age 10 years or older should get between 30 and 100 mcg per day. Infants and children should get.

People who are pregnant or breastfeeding may need higher levels of biotin.

Talk with your doctor about the right daily intake for you. They can provide guidance on how to safely increase your dosage to provide the maximum benefits.

In order for it to be effective, it needs to be consumed and you need to take it daily. It could take several months to notice the effects of supplemental biotin and the results will only last as long as you continue to take the biotin.
