Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet just taught us how to announce a divorce with grace.

I remember when I heard about their relationship for the first time. I thought they were the most beautiful couple of all time—and now, they are filing for divorce.

But even while announcing their breakup, Bonet and Momoa are still an inspiration to all of us who believe in love. Apparently, there is no need to bash each other, start sh*tstorms on social media, or call the other a narcissist.

Instead of doing all that, the couple released a heartwarming statement on Instagram.

Why can’t we all be a bit more like Bonet and Momoa?

I am sure that there were reasons leading to this breakup, but I am even happier that we will (probably) never find out about them. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be?

The tabloid industry might be disappointed that this marriage doesn’t end with a big scandal to report on, but I am happy to see that adults don’t necessarily have to act like teenagers when ending a relationship.

I wonder what happens next, but if I were Kim Kardashian, I would keep an eye on my new boyfriend, Pete Davidson—just kidding.

I wish Momoa and Bonet all the best for their future. They both deserve it.
