This vaguely “NSFW” FKA Twigs Calvin Klein Ad is Banned in the UK. A similar one of a man isn’t.

To my mind, it’s wonderful that women and others are loving sexy Jeremy. To my mind, it’s wonderful that FKA Twigs, after everything she’s gone through (look it up, if brave and curious), is celebrating her body. ~ ed.
Two NSFW Calvin Klein ads. One man, one woman. Guess which one is banned?
I don’t see anything objectionable with either ad. Love ’em or not, it’s a fashion ad. A lot of body, with both. Who cares? Is this leftover puritanism against women?
Sure seems like it.
When will we get tired of this story?
The Advertising Standards Authority banned FKA’s ad because it “placed viewers’ focus on the model’s body rather than on the clothing being advertised.” The ad “was irresponsible and likely to cause serious offense.”
“I do not see the ‘stereotypical sexual object’ that they have labelled me. I see a beautiful strong woman of colour whose incredible body has overcome more pain than you can imagine. In light of reviewing other campaigns past and current of this nature, I can’t help but feel there are some double standards here.”
