Alex Hayden Hernandez is an online health coach, yoga instructor and writer. Her focus on health comes from a self journey of losing 50 pounds and transforming her own life. Her coaching and involvement in health comes with a social justice twist, where she focuses on how the media, social structure and stereotypes negatively impact the overall health of the country. Her methods explore how the mind, happiness and lifestyle affect health. Alex is also the co-founder of Socially Aware Sisterhood of Youth, a non-profit educating young girls on social awareness, self-esteem, social justice, stereotypes in media, social patterns and behaviors, justice, equality, prejudice, out-sourcing, Civil Rights Movement, women’s history, American History, black history and latino/a history.
