As a follow up to the article i posted on August 26, can’t get no satisfaction, i’d like to thank you for your wonderful comments and bring your attention to the above You Tube video which was sent to me by a beautiful elephant journal companion. I freely admit that i cried a river and the musical accompaniment certainly added to the emotional flow.

Those of you who have read my article A Tool For Sufferers of Eating Disorders from One Who Knows are aware that this is a subject close to my heart, close to readers hearts and close to the hearts of all those who suffer. I have a twelve year old daughter and i remember my own problems with beauty, body image and self confidence kicking off at this exact age. I do, and hope to continue to do all i can to inform parents, girls and ( let’s not forget ) boys that they are beautiful in every way no matter what their circumstances are. As the old saying goes – Beauty comes from withinlet us never forget that.

Today write down twelve things that are beautiful about you, or even better still post them below for all the other beautiful people to see.

Peace and Love.

Sweet and so true. Yoga teaches us to accept and love ourselves just as we are. Self-acceptance is food for the spirit and spirit is what allows us to grow and florish.
