Songs to celebrate life by.

For some, the real celebration of Paddy’s day is sitting in an old man’s pub listening to proper traditional music.

Here’s a selection of songs held dear in the hearts of the Irish:

My very favourite;

get up the yard! The Dubliners and The Pogues;

And bringin’ it back up, I’ll leave you with this. Sung by Irish singer-songwriter Mundy, it was originally written by Steve Earle. I’ll put all my money on it that pretty much every pub, bar and venue on the Emerald isle will have this playing tonight with thousands of people dancing their cares away!
