Aging happens to the best of us. Perfection is illusion. Nobody gets out of life alive. Here’s three photos out of a series of six:

Aging happens to each of us. It’s how we shape our wrinkles—with openness, smiles, genuine heart of sadness–that matters.

Interesting photo shoot! The 30 year old looks like she's on drugs, though. Still a beautiful lady through all those "years"; makes one think, doesn't it…..?

All it does is test our understanding of socio-cultural stereotypes and trends. The 60+ age group seems to be most appealing, as I seem to associate the power dressing with Christopher Lee and the Jedi.

    Awesome and interesting post Waylon!

Honestly I think they mixed up the 40 and 50…

  5. The french text underneath puts the shoot in context. It's a health campaign against things such as smoking, botox, sun damage etc. The french are trying to get women to protect themselves and their skin rather than fall into traps of what they think society wants them to see.

This French campaign is designed to promote healthy living. The textual context underneath puts it into perspective. – It's encouraging women to look after their skin with ideas such as saying no to smoking, botox, tanning etc, but yes to s…un protection, healthy eating and lifestyles. We definitely have the power to keep our skin looking young, we just have to learn to do it properly, without falling into the trap of what women think society wants them to look like. Yes to healthy skin thanks! :)

Jeffrey Ringer very interesting photo shoot

This would be far more interesting if instead of photos, they were journal entries….Perhaps then we’d see a more truthful reflection of the beauty of aging.

I can't see the rest of them because it is asking for a password for the site? Does anyone know the password or how to see the other 3 photos? I am curious to see the 60 year old one. Thanks.

  10. Pam says:

Most photos look good, except for 60 . She looks too demure and needs a zesty, fun and lively look!.

  11. sally sue says:

It's all fine to support healthy living but the 50 and 60 photos especially aren't realistic. Taking care of your skin won't save you from all the wrinkles and laugh lines that indicate a life well lived.

  12. lisa says:

My 30s were the best time of my life…and I am now 50.

  13. Kwei Quartey says:

Although 60 is hardly “old” anymore. I guess it’s all relative though

  14. ohgreat says:

    yep! agreed.

Thank you! A waste of time and effort. At 62 I can tell you 60 years do not look like this picture…and who cares anyway? Disappointing.
