The fourth Hill Flea market continues to grow in fun and size.
My friend Lindsey and I had the classic start to our Sunday—coffee and breakfast at Burnt Toast (okay, 12:41 counts as brunch) and a walk through the Hill Flea, which we’ve written up before here and here. I discovered a few new favorites, including Marika and Caroline’s “Sea and Me” vintage fashion and another place with plastic bags sewn into purses, out-of-date-thick-plastic-would-be-tossed-away school maps made into lampshades. And we saw our friend who turns would-be-tossed-broken skateboards into belt buckles, pendants, earrings.
Know someone or a business in this slideshow? Email your friends with the link. If this post gets views, I’ll keep covering the Hill Flea—it’s a delight. I’ve already done two posts, though, so if this don’t get a ton of views, all good, but my iPhone coverage will end, and I’ll just focus on enjoying my Sundays, instead of covering ’em. – ed.
