Melanoma 101.

One bad sunburn before you’re 18. Tanning beds. Both double your risk.

A young person’s disease. Can be deadly. But we’re not helpless. This isn’t about fear. This is about awareness. Check your skin.

Okay, this one broke my heart, made me cry a little, and I don’t cry a lot…and I learned a lot, and made me want to share it with everyone.

And yah, I had a horrible sunburn from rafting down the Colorado when I was 10…and I had bright red blond hair when a kid, and am still super-freckly. Share this.

Just like they said, I got a terrible sunburn when I was 20 and now have to be checked on a regular
basis for the skin cancer that arrived in my 50's. Luckily, mine was basal cell cancer and not as deadly
as the melanoma. Please share with friends!
