It all began innocently enough. A little trip to India and a distaste for group email blasts. Soon I was writing daily.
Just as suddenly I stopped, started, stopped, started, stopped and here I am again.
A couple of months ago my husband and I (we sort of eloped last weekend and that still sounds weird) packed up and took the Great American Road Trip from Brooklyn, New York to Albuquerque, New Mexico. After more than a few mouthfuls of 100% non-vegetarian vegetarian tacos (sorry but lard, chicken stock and food with the meat picked out is not vegetarian) we found a house, adopted a puppy, planted a vegetable garden, and watched a real 505 sunset minus smoke from Arizona.
But I didn’t just move out here for the chile. I got the keys yesterday for what will soon become the Albuquerque Ashtanga Yoga Shala (More on that later).
I find myself once again inspired to write. Stay tuned for tasty bites of life, love, the pursuit of veggie-ness and all things in between.
