This was such an amazing conversation. Warden Salinas is a deep karma yogi, her life is a demonstration of the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. It was such an honor and a privilege to have an extended discussion with her about the yoga program in the prison. Really helped me to understand that our practice on the mat is only a very small part of what yoga is about. Humbled.

A great reminder of why it's important to come to the mat and to spread the good news of what yoga has to offer and how potent is its power to change. Great post.
