My wish for you, for all of humanity, is that you look in the mirror each day, without judgment, without criticism and admire the person standing in front of you.
My wish is that you find comfort in knowing that you are exactly where you’re meant to be in this very moment, and that you have at least one friend in the world who knows you at the deepest level and will walk to the ends of the earth for you.
I wish that you will be gentle and compassionate towards yourself and to others, knowing that we are all learning as we go.
My wish for you is that you can see love in every moment. Ways to express it and give it to others even on your darkest days.
That you can extend a hand to another human being in their times of challenge and heartache to let them know you see them and that you are there.
My wish is that you can move through your life not raging against the difficulties and challenges, but flowing through them as if on a river, allowing it to sweep you up and move you to your next destination, the place you were always headed.
That you can embrace the messy, imperfect places in yourself and others as the most magnificent parts of people.
My wish for you, is that the day comes when you stop comparing yourself and your life to other people’s. That you cease using it as a measuring stick to berate and judge yourself for not being what or where you thought you should be.
That you can pause to find the magic in the simplest of moments in life: the sun on your face, the sound of the wind howling against the window on a rainy day, the warmth of a mug of tea in your hands on a cold winter morning.
My wish is that you can give yourself a break for all the mistakes you’ve made. That you can forgive yourself and let go of all the missteps and misunderstandings that have come about on your journey, knowing that they were meant to happen to teach you important lessons.
That you have the courage to say “yes” when you want to say “no” to doing something that scares you.
My wish is that you can let go of shame, ego, and all the unanswered questions of your life, and find peace in the not knowing, knowing only that the divine has a hand in keeping those answers from you as they are not needed for your soul to advance you further on your path.
I wish that you can stand in your power and be strong, without ever feeling the need to give in to another person if it doesn’t feel right in your heart and that you can practice daily acts of self-love.
My wish for you is that you can let go of the past.
That you can give thanks to every person who has hurt you and find forgiveness in your heart for them.
That you can have faith in what’s to come and let go of the fear of not knowing.
And that you can live each day on this earth, as if it’s a precious gift, pausing only to give thanks and express gratitude for all that you are and all that you are meant to be.
My wish for all of you, for all of humanity is to do love.To leave this earth having loved at least one other person.
Let that one person include yourself.
