A reminder from your period

Periods are for the winter storms. Reminding you that you are nature + nature is you. Sure, you can break down an atom after atom after atom, but when you get to the bottom you will find nothing.

Nothing is the place that you were made from. The feminine, the women, the deep roar like ocean waves crashing onto rocks.

The place the stars were made from. Your period is here to remind you that THIS is who you are.

Your magic, your power within you is coursing through your body.

When you contain it, stuff it with cotton, and swallow down emotion you are denying yourself that connection.

I invite you to ask yourself, your ego, your mind: What are you so afraid of?

Blood running down your legs?

Screaming out in grief only to find there’s no one else there to soothe your soul?

Finding out you knew the answers all along were within you, then condemning yourself for all the bad choices you made?

Your blood is your birthright as a woman. You are the rivers, ocean, and streams. Every waterfall is a reflection of who you truly are.

Listen to the madness within. Paint it. Write it. Sing it.

Your truth, your real voice, your real self will unravel so you may fully see. Bare, naked, and whole. Protect yourself but be vulnerable to your own eyes to how raw you can truly be.

Are you ready to feel so deeply?

And when you feel it, are you ready to express yourself so boldly from this place?

When you express this, are you ready to experience your impact – whether it be painful or beautiful?

Every woman was born with a key. Made up of intuition, source energy, and wisdom. Not from herself but through herself. She is the conduit. She is the vessel that gives life through all-natural mechanics.

Listen to your body. Listen to your period. Listen to yourself.
