Gurus, Sinners and Saints

There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.  Hamlet

Oh, Shakespeare my dearest friend and fellow therapist. The observer of men and the writer of hearts delight. Thank you for your words and gifted pen.

Alone I take solace in your words.

In the darkness of night I find refuge from storms and let go.

This week offered insight and small gains. In celebration and reconciliation of my own faith in myself and humanity I write.

Humans are perfectly imperfect and sweetly flawed and yet like water polished stones we are refined by the waters of life.

Many of us are searching externally for gurus to walk us home and comfort us in the darkness.

What we search for can be found within.

The guru is within us all as well as the saint and sinner.

Imagine this if you can?

We all have the Devine sparks within.

We all have elements of light and dark and we all have the potential to create.

Humans are instrumental both in their own creations and suffering by the power of their minds.

We can independently and collaboratively co- regulate as well as create.

We can soothe our emotional storms and transform our internal narratives .

We can find ease and release. We are the fishermen, hunters  and gatherers.

We are kings and peasants and the the the brine of life.

If you find yourself beating yourself up for your human flaws and your failings you are not alone. The spectacular thing is this life offers many opportunities to begin again.

We can forgive ourselves and let go of our transgressions and others. We can heal and we can love.

Right now wherever you are settle in and take inventory.

Take pause before asking the following:

What joy and jubilation do I find in this moment ?

Can I find moments of bliss in this sacred second?

Today can I be inspired by love and the miracles of life?

We write and rewrite our own stories.

Sweet one, while reading this remind yourself that what you think and feel will pass.

Everything you need will arrive in time.

The strength and light is within.

Your inner guru is your wise self there to guide and light the way.

We all have an inner guru and life’s journey will bring both joy and sorrows.

Every day is an  opportunity to embrace the miracles that unfold.

Accepting ourselves for who we are in this moment will promote growth. This is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and others.

Today while writing I choose the miracles of life while letting go of my grievances. I am renewed and my heart and spirit settles.

As acceptance quiets my mind softly I surrender and find peace here.

My hope is that this offering is of benefit for those that need some peace.

Namaste Dear Ones.
