Waylon Lewis is back with his award-winning video series and podcast.
He’ll be going live each Friday and starting out with three mindful tips each week, big & small.
It’s Friday! Here you go. Drama, Letting go isn’t Dropping, & Equal Appreciation. Oh my!
“Even if something is negative—negative is hard, it’s scary—if we can be brave, if we can be open, if we can be vulnerable, if we can care…then we can actually become truly fearless.
The Buddhist definition of fearlessness is not being without fear, but going through fear and actually relaxing and being comfortable. So drama, if it happens to us once in a while, is probably because we’re surrounded by some neurosis. If it happens to us regularly, however, it is time to take some responsibility. Which is what we talked about last week.
You can find all the videos on my new brand new YouTube channel.” ~ Waylon Lewis
“In Buddhism, we say, and I’ve mentioned this many times, but we say, if you wanna be happy, think first of others. You definitely think of yourself. You take care of yourself. You need to take care of yourself. That’s vital. But if you want to be unhappy, think only of yourself. And that’s where a lot of us get unhappy. We get a little self-obsessed.” ~ Waylon Lewis

A note from Waylon:
Big news about my podcast, new YouTube channel.
Our podcast and video series are trying to start up again, with Molly’s help! Help support them by viewing, listening, sharing—we’ve received many requests over the last years for mindful tips and conversations and the podcast to return. Boom! I’m once again doing a convo/video/podcast once a week. Hope you give it a listen.
I’m leaving behind Elephant’s 35,000 subscribers (Google never let us monetize) and many millions of views—and I hope you’ll subscribe to my new channel here: I’ll upload at least one video a week about everyday mindfulness and eco and meditation and relationships and food and equality and politics from a non-hateful perspective, and all that good stuff.
So, anyways, starting a new account. Subscribe! Support! Share! All the things. May it be of benefit! Be one of my first and comment if you do so.
