as if I’m the person people truly wish to be with.
I wish to be admired,
as if I’m simply not just a pretty face but also an intricate mind.
I wish to be known,
as if I was someone with thoughts and feelings.
I wish to be me,
as if what I am matters to someone more than just my family.
I wish to be someone who does more than just wish,
as if I was more than just a dreamer.
