“Whether it’s science or magic, if it’s of fun benefit, enjoy!” ~ ed

We stand on the edge of a whole new world, the threshold between the old and the new way of being, the veil thinning between what was and what has not yet come to pass.
Eclipse season round two for 2025, packing a punch and then some, has come and not yet gone, still weaving its mark, imprint and lasting impact on our bodies, spirits, hearts, and emotions.
We continue to clear the debris out of our systems, opening new space for what we’ve been calling in next. The clarity we’ve been seeking for the next steps on the soul path and path of self-mastery and self-initiation becoming ever clearer day by day, small step by small step, as we continue to bravely open to the next dream seed calling and have faith in the Mystery of Life to unveil its magic to and through us.
It has not been an easy time to say the least. Eclipses wring us out, like a wet wash cloth, squeezing ever tighter, as the last remnants of cleansing emotional waters is released out of us, finally in surrender of what needed to go.
In Pisces for the first full moon and lunar eclipse, surrender and emotional release were the invitation. And in Virgo thereafter for the new moon and solar eclipse, we were asked to release the ways in which we grip and control life, micromanaging ourselves, others, and the Mystery of Life. This solar eclipse revealed all the ways in which we still shirk away from our day-to-day realities and service to self and the world. Or because perhaps our exhaustion was the needed part of self to tend to and be with as sacred rest, rather than relentless productivity and constant overexertion of our energy. A deeper invitation to embody these precious bodies and vessels and tend to our health of mind and body as interconnected and innately interwoven counterparts.
This eclipse season coupled with the energy of the sun in Virgo was a doozy on our minds and bodies. Deeply held karmic energies bound tightly in the gut and facial systems were brought to light, inviting us to lean into the process of unwinding long-held tension and holding patterns, assimilating more ease and release in body and mind. The body truly keeps the score, holding memories in the soma of all that has come before us and beyond us, the ancestral codes and storehouses of soul imprinting and lineage memorabilia. Our bodies, the house and warehouse of so much beyond what we can even sense always, see, and feel. A greater intelligence held within the body and cells beckons us inward to listen. To slow down and listen to what is unspoken, only sensed and felt. As we reconnect back to the life force held (sometimes trapped) in these bodies and vessels of our spirit, we remember a life we have not yet lived out, one more rooted and connected to the rhythms and cycles of nature. A more authentic way of being embodied is sensed, a slower, cyclical, in tune with the feminine and masculine dance within and without, a sacred return to nature and earth-based practices to remind us of our innate belonging and connection to creation. A sacred mirror back to our own state of inner wholeness.
Virgo season has come and gone now, as the sun has entered Libra on the same day of the Equinox on September 22. The shift from the element of earth to air, and from the focus on self to other is felt this time of year. As the seasons shift and change into the quieter months of fall and winter in the northern hemisphere, and start to lighten and open to the spring and energies of summer in the southern, we feel a time of change and transition energetically. A time to listen to the inner stirrings of what we must tend to and be with.
Libra energy is that of air, the mental and intellectual realms to get our minds swirling with ideas and activity. Libra season shifts our focus onto relationships and connections with others. To know that relationship is the sacred container for soul evolution and growth, mirroring and reflecting fractals of consciousness back to us to see, witness, and integrate. And also to use relationship and relational containers as tools for self-empowerment, to reclaim parts of our power and self back, to retrieve lost and wild aspects of self, shadow aspects of self, misunderstood and misjudged aspects of self. To consciously see the subtle and insidious games and power plays of projection onto others of our unfelt pain, casting our own shadow onto someone outside of us because we still can’t bear to be with and own these deemed “negative,” unseen, shamed, or condemned aspects of self.
Libra energy initiates us deeper into the path of self-mastery through the lens of relationship. Are we aligned relationally with those in our highest good or is our outer relational misalignment still pointing to inner alignment in need of fine-tuning? Especially following eclipse season, various connections came and went through the portal of change faster than we could blink. Did we remain detached to who stays and who goes, trusting it all will land as it needs to? Or did we cling tighter to what has been outdated for some time for fear of losing connection with another and fear of what it means to fully embody our inner alignment? We can notice both sides of self as they needed to play out. Shadow and light. Light and shadow, all a part of the sacred dance of duality. Sacred balance.
This is Libra. Sacred balance of life. Masculine and feminine in harmonious union. Effort and surrender. Action and rest. Self and other. How to find harmony in the self so we can create and restore harmony in the world and in our relationships? That is the path of the Libra spirit. Because the counter and opposing (yet balancing and needed energy) of Libra is Aries. Aries is the self. The individual. The ego-minded me-myself-and-I. And we need this. We need to be self-ish and self-focused. And yet, we exist in a realm of relationship because consciousness said, “Hey! Let’s masquerade as the One in all the various forms and nuances of life just to experience it all!” We need the conscious self and individual expression of self energy to know and understand who and what we are. That we came here to be a spark of the divine and emanate that energy in the unique way that only we can do.
We came into this human incarnation as a fractal of God consciousness and of the creator energy to live out the thousands of ways and forms to be human. And this includes having differing beliefs and opinions. Imagine that! We were never meant to walk around like robots, all expressing the same rhetoric of thought, idea, and belief. How boring that would be! We exist in duality and duality is the tension and also the juice of life. Can we still see and know our own shared humanity to live, breathe, die, love, and hurt in the same way that another who believes in the exact opposite way of life than we do does? Can we expand our container of tolerance to include all forms of belief? We see it play out these days on the world stage and severing ties in families now too, the polarizing ways in which the media and programming seduces us into fear and tempts to indoctrinate our minds, fueling energies of fear and hatred toward others with differing views. This is the ploy and the game at play on the collective psychological and spiritual battleground. A true war over our minds and attention. Where and to what outside source will we continue to give our energy to? Our energy, the most precious form of currency now. Or will we call our energy and power back from outside sources siphoning and spiraling us deeper into fear and separation and instead reclaim our power and creative energy to channel our dreams for love, healing, renewal, abundance, and possibility? The choice is always ours, moment to moment, dust to dust of previous world crumbling.
As we continue to integrate the energies of this powerful eclipse season, we move forward now, blazing a whole new path into the unknown, bolstered by our ever-courageous hearts and spirits to keep going in the face of adversity. The upcoming full supermoon in Aries on October 6/7 at 11:47 p.m. EST and at 14 degrees of the cardinal fire sign will be the fire-starting energy we need to boost us up again after a season of deep, karmic release and soul shedding. Still in the year of the snake energy, though, we know the transformations continue in their various waves of intensity for the last few months of the year.
Aries energy is the first sign of the zodiac wheel. The “I am.” The initiator. The new frontier walker. The ball busting energy of courage and boldness. Aries is fire. Passion. Drive. Motivation. Courage. Inner authority and sovereignty. Our inner warrior. Ruled by Mars (the planet of war, action, and masculine energy), you can often feel an Aries when they enter the room. Fiery and charged up. A lighter in the dark, with some kerosene just in case anyone needs some extra juice. Aries energy doesn’t back down. The shadow side of Aries can be defensive, angry, explosive, and ego-minded. Too focused on being right rather than allowing room for all voices and opinions to co-exist. This is where Libra enters to balance the scales. Libra energy reminds the Aries self to absolutely have passion for what it believes in! And yet, make room and space for all voices at the table to speak and be heard. And soften the ego a little and remember that they too have a right to what they believe is true. Even if it differs from your worldview. Maybe, just maybe, their perception is seen through a different lens of truth. And maybe, that doesn’t make them wrong, stupid, or bad, but just a person seeing and filtering the world through their own lived, breathed, and understood experience.
The light side of Aries is the leader energy, here to remind us that we can’t tell others how to live. That it is only in walking our truest path of sovereignty and self-initiation that we will maybe, just maybe, exemplify to others a new way of being. All we can do is walk our own path, step by step by step. By stepping deeper into our sovereignty, and allowing others the same sovereignty we hope and fight for, we give space for all to walk in accordance with their own soul truth and soul process.
This full moon in Aries is heated and hot. Tempers and triggers could run hotter with this emotional brew. Anger outbursts, irritability, or frustrations stewing. Our anger is a sacred ally, though, revealing to us unmet needs, unprocessed grief, crossed or threatened boundaries. Anger is a messenger back to what needs to be felt internally first, not projected and spewed outwardly like explosive confetti onto others. It has been an increasingly sensitive time of wounds and triggers stirring as we close out eclipse season. Chiron (the wounded healer), still is Aries, is a potent energy for this full moon activation, after its direct opposition to Mars in Libra a few days before the solar eclipse in Virgo. Our wounded selves getting louder, emotions brewing on the surface in our relationships, our wounded masculine energy showing us where we need to temper and bring into balance more of our feminine softness, energies of love and compassion for our overly masculinized, survival parts. Most of us learned how to survive by dropping and steeping deeper into our masculine energy. To protect. To not feel the hurts that felt too unbearable to feel when we didn’t have the capacity to do so. This full moon is a continuation of the Chiron and wounded, now healing, self journey. We balance our masculine energy by tending now to the wounded self underneath that never was able to fully process and feel the pain in the first place. Chiron in Aries will be making a square to Jupiter in Cancer throughout all of October shining a light on our childhood wounds of self-identity but also gifting us with ample opportunity to heal a deeper emotional wound. We all have wounds and it is up to us to face and feel them now to be more whole, sovereign, and integrated individuals.
Because this full moon will be squaring off to Jupiter in Cancer, we can anticipate an expansion of our sensitivities and emotions. For all its gusto and bravado, Aries is actually one of the most sensitive signs. So perhaps, when these two sensitive signs come together, even in the tension of emotional activation, we can see and remember that being sensitive was never a character flaw, but a right of soul initiation into deeper understanding and compassion for self and other on the journey of life. A true sensitive spirit sees, feels, and knows things others usually miss. And this is a true gift in the realms of being human and soul. Our sensitivity truly is a superpower. A way of reminding the world that softness is resilience. And feeling is the bravest thing we can do.
To be sensitive is to allow ourselves to be touched by life, by the horror, pain, trauma, and also the beauty, miraculous, awe, and wonder. And to know it as all a part of God. So, as much as our emotions might feel amplified here, Cancer energy reminds us how to nurture the parts of self we’ve neglected, the emotions we’ve skimmed and skipped over. Can we wrap ourselves up in a blanket or a hug, enveloping our own hearts, in a way that says, “I see you brave, courageous warrior and heart. You can relax your stance now. You can set down your shield and sword. You are safe here now with me and held in this love I offer you now. Rest warrior spirit. Rest, now. And let your grief shake out of you like pebbles and stones emptying out from your cup.” Aries energy knows how to battle to the death of things. But sometimes, it is the bravest and most courageous choice to set down and surrender the weapons against our own hearts and the hearts of others.
With the sun in Libra square to Jupiter as well, we are reminded that our relationships and connections with others can sometimes bump up against our sensitivities and emotions in ways that don’t always feel good. Others may elicit an emotion in us that needs to be seen and processed. And this is the path of conscious relating. Taking ownership of our emotions and doing the inner work to alchemize them so we can show up accountable to our own energy, a safer presence for all to interact with and relate to.
As this full moon is ruled by Mars, now in the deep, psychic, and intensely felt waters of Scorpio, we feel the pull to dive deeper into our subconscious, our fears, hidden desires, and obsessions. By owning and de-shaming the taboo and hidden or repressed desires, we reclaim more of our power and can take action aligned in more of our energy. Mars co-rules Scorpio, so the intensity and spice of life is welcomed here. A deep transformative journey of self-desire percolating in the shadows asked now to be brought back into the light of our awareness. Venus, Mars’ counterpart, will enter Libra in its exalted state and placement on October 13, a coming home for Venusian energy. Our relationships get some softening, support, and balancing energy as we continue to move through challenge and conflict with others. Venus sextile to Jupiter here also expands our hearts and emotional capacity for restoring harmony and balance relationally again. Venus opposing Saturn reminds us of the sacred responsibility we must tend to in our relationships to own our sh*t and be self-accountable to our own energy. A seriousness here to remind us that who we relate to matters and how we relate to others matters tenfold.
On October 14, Pluto stations direct in Aquarius after many months of being retrograde and deep-sea diving into our hidden subconscious realm of fears, shadows, and places we’ve disconnected from our own power source. Pluto retrograde has been an intensely introspective time where our fears got louder in our own minds, where we were pushed to the edges of our discomfort zones, and through that edge, we were changed and transformed deeply, no longer held hostage as much to our own fears and make-believe lies. As Pluto goes direct, we are integrating our power in a whole new way. We are just beginning still and in the early phases of truly owning, walking in, and knowing our own power and how best to wield it. Releasing the fear of being more fully in our power has been the ongoing invitation. Pluto in Aquarius connects us to the collective world stage grid of fear and simultaneously pushes us deeper into the reclamation journey of self and our own power from this rampant fear virus.
We are reclaiming more of our true power and authentic self through this closing of the eclipse portal window into this potent Aries full supermoon and later, the Libra new moon on October 21. Neptune will dip back into Pisces at the end of this month for a short and final swim through the waters of Pisces, to make sure we are fully clear and ready to move forward when it officially moves back into Aries, sparking a new spiritual dream seed in the making. We can see and sense the way forward now. Even if fear still speaks loud some days and moments. Our inner warrior rises. We rise to meet the unknown. To greet the Mystery. And remember that is where the magic lives anyways.
Even in times of collective strife, trauma, and drama playing out, we must return to the self, not in selfishness devoid of responsibility to this world, but in responsibility and devotion to the soul we came to initiate and be initiated into. To become the unique being of light we came here to be. We can witness the horror and drama on the screen and also know and trust a deeper truth. A deeper spiritual path unfolding. The shadows purging out, as the light ascends and deepens into our being and onto this planet. We came here to rise. Rise like the phoenix from the ashes of the crumbling dust of the old world. To blaze a new path forward and become the soul leaders we were born to be.
Allow this full moon to remind you of this sacred duty and truth. Sacred duty to self and soul. Sovereignty and self leadership now. Be your own inner authority. Harness the inner warrior and fuel that passion into freedom and autonomy for all. Let this full moon zap you awake to your dormant passion and power. Wake you up to your own drive and motivation for a new journey and path ahead. Remind you that a passion-led life is a life on fire for God and the divine already alive within you. Let desire speak your name. Let the quake of the shake remind you that life and death are only one blink of the eye away. Allow this full moon to charge your spirit back up after the loss and death of what was. The. Fire. In. You. Coming. Alive. Again. With. Each. Breath. And. Bellow. Fire. Breather. Fire. Seeker. Let. The. Fire. Burn. Bright. Within. You. To. Light. Up. Another. And. Watch. The. Torch. Of. Inner. Flame. Ignite. The. World. On. Fire. Passion. And. Soul. Purpose. Becoming. Free. Sovereign. Aligned. In. Divine. Self. Once. More. Aho. Amen. And so it is.
