MOM = WOW. Or, I wish Joana Smith were my mindful mama, and here’s why.

Via on Nov 5, 2008

My mindful mama, Linda V. Lewis, kept the most beautiful, poetic, detailed, love-ful scrap books. I still have ‘em, all of ‘em, and they’re better than any memoir or diary could be.

So it was with emotional wonder that, now 34 years old, I happen upon my lovely friend (who I’ve only met once, but she is an amazing artiste community superheroine) Joana Smith’s artful family scrapbooks on the lovely mindfulmamamagazine.com. Wow.

I think it is really awesome that your mother did this and you were able to keep the scrap books for so many years.

The best part to me is seeing a young mother raising her child – surrounding her with so much creativity and passion.

We have a lot of stuff…
and I think if we can see it with new eyes,
    everyone will be empowered…

and maybe, just maybe (I hope)

    we can *make* WORLD PEACE

    with all this extra stuff…
    I’m trying to outline how
(in the most beautiful way I can).

thanks for the mention, my friend
