obama second term

Breaking News: “It’s hopeless.”

“Change isn’t so hard, but change we can believe in? Bipartisanship? A new political culture? Getting rid of lobbyists? Fighting climate change in a business-savvy manner? It’s all hopeless. We’ve been busy trying to right the economy—to not only undo the last eight years in one year…we’re so busy cleaning up messes, we can’t do any of the things we ran on.”

“I’m going back to Chicago, Michelle and I and the children will return to a more normal way of life. After all, what’s the point of stressing for the benefit of others when nearly half of them don’t even want your help?”

    • Sorry! Any other day…we'd never do something like this. Today…it's national Onion-esque day—riffs off reality. Fool's court, pointing out tough issues. It's been tough going to establish a new era of Hope and Change, but I know President Obama won't give up, and I for one won't, either.
