reverb10

Writing a response in the form of a haiku for the prompts from #reverb10 every day in December so far has been so fun.

#reverb10 is an online event to reflect on this year and manifest what’s next.

Here are some of my responses from Yogic Muse:

19 – Healing

Healing

Renewable. My
mind and body offer their
ongoing healing.

17 – Lessons Learned

Lessons Learned

Compassion comes when
I see that I made mistakes
from a blind viewpoint.

16 – Friendship

Friendship

Friendship. Opening
heart to another way of
life. Live it fully.

15 – 5 Minutes

5 Minutes

Your teeth make me smile.
The little gap for sweetness
lets me know I’m home.

14 – Appreciate

Appreciate

I appreciate
seeing beyond the first thought
to the second one…

12 – Body Integration

Body Integration

Whole body involved,
infused with keen perception.
Natural movement.

10 – Wisdom

Wisdom

I am wise when I
am inclusive with vision.
Can I see you, too?

It is also so interesting to check out #reverb 10 on Twitter, and see what others are writing and making in response to the prompts. And you can still sign up if you’d like to participate, too.

  1. Love this, Brooks. Could you share a little background on Haiku?

Thanks, Bob! I linked the word "haiku" above. Mostly, I like the form of haiku (The way I do it: first line-5 syllables, second line-7 syllables, third line-5 syllables. It is a Japanese form so some might say you can't really do it in English…) because it forces me to be concise. And I find it fun! Glad you enjoyed reading…

    I especially like #15.
