Even if you aren’t vegan, this art seems immoral: the equivalent of wasting 10 meals—not to mention a pig’s life, transportation, water—in a hungry world.
I can’t help but think of Dexter, looking at this. You know, twisted mass murders making “art” out of their twistedness.
I wonder if at any point the “artist,” having supply-and-demanded the death of various pigs for his/her “art,” remember that he was making “art” out of a “sentient being” smarter than his/her dog. Smarter, that is, while it was kept penned in the torture chamber that we call a factory farm, and right up until the point when it was needlessly killed.
I’m offering my reaction, here, not as a vegan—I’m not, at least not yet—but as a human who happens to think pigs are alive, and thinking, and don’t need to be made into art. If you’re going to kill them, at least have the respect to eat the effing “meat.”
