After this morning’s Walk the Talk Show interview with Congressman Tim Ryan (link to video coming), I went to lunch with the elephantjournal.com crew, and sat in our favorite hidden-away-yet-outside table at Kitchen Next Door.

At some point I happened to see a Haligonian mentor buddy of mine, Barry Boyce, lumbering down the street—he’s one of the best writers, leaders, and biggest hearts I know—and we walked over to the Boulder Book Store, where we met up with Congressman Ryan and Jim Gimian, as well as David Bolduc, another Buddhist who’s known me since I was a baby.

This is completely inspiring! What a gorgeous use of the human body. Whelan, you know Barry Boyce! Had a writing course with him once while with govt in NS. He's a superb teacher.
