Kid President’s Holiday Gift Guide. {Video}

Do you remember Socktober

Back in October, SoulPancake and Kid President teamed up with Smart Wool to encourage everyone to donate socks to the homeless.

Well, this December, Kid President is reminding us what matters in life—and what makes a gift great.

We don’t need to have lots of money to make others feel loved and cared for. Sometimes all we want for Christmas is a good bear hug (although not from a real bear, as he so wisely reminds) or time spent together (so get off your phone).

(Still, if I’m being completely honest, I would never turn down Kid President’s awesome macaroni picture of Uncle Jesse from Full House. I digress.)

Some suggestions offered up:

Buy a blanket for kids who need them, send books to kids who need stories, help provide thousands of school desks, and buy a kid a soccer ball—plus make sure they have the nutrition that they need—for less than $7. He suggests donating these gifts in honor of someone on your holiday shopping list.

(For more information on how to do any of the above, Kid President suggests visiting the UNICEF Inspired Gifts website.)
