What Does Your Eye Say About You? {Quiz}

The eye is probably the most intriguing sensory organ.

From the anatomical function of detecting “light,” its symbolism and metaphorical meaning span all the way up to the cosmic perspective and consciousness itself.

Through the ages, people have used it to represent prophecy, awareness, evil and truth. Perhaps the age-old adage, “the eyes are the windows to the soul,” sums up the spiritual nature behind the eye’s symbolism.

In Ancient Egypt, the Eye of Horus is a symbol of protection and life. In Buddhism, the Third Eye is a symbol of wisdom, enlightenment and higher consciousness.

And while it has always been a cornerstone to the imagination of writers, poets, philosophers and sages, today it’s come to invade the world of Pop Psychology.

This test you’re about to take (from Enlightened Consciousness) is fun and entertaining, and it’s also strangely accurate and revealing. Odds are you’ll be amazed by the results!

Pick an Eye

So, here’s how this works:  First, pick the eye(s) that you feel drawn to.  Which one(s) caught your attention?  It’s alright to pick more than one. Then look below for its number and see what it says about you…

#1:  You are an open soul.

You’re the kind of person who will welcome almost anyone into your life and heart. You are the type of person to take a risk and get hurt rather than to close yourself off to the world. You won’t show the world your fears or insecurities. You also think that your problems should be dealt with privately. You might be the kind of person who finds deep relief in helping others!

#2: You are Conscientious.

You always try to put your heart and soul in everything you do, and you consider your actions to make a difference in other people’s lives. You try to keep it to yourself when you are worried or upset. You see a lot of misery and injustice in the world you keep it to yourself. You are concerned to be the best person possible.

#3: You could be a tortured soul.

Are you the kind of person who has a rough past that still affects you today? You can’t help but think that life is some sort of sick cosmic joke. You are always in a fight to try and find your peace wherever you can. You can be introspective and try to rationalize all your thoughts. You have a lot to endure, and your keeping it to yourself. Your frame of mind can be surprisingly sunny at times. You’re a total expert at picking yourself up when you fall.

#4: Philosophical.

You tend to over think everything and anything. You’re always after the deeper meaning of things. At some times you get so lost in your thoughts that it’s sometimes hard to tell up from down. Do you always try to keep from the world how unsure you feel? You might be figuring things out, but you’re still confident. You might think life is a maze, but you still enjoy your ride through it. You may not ever figure out the meaning of it all, and you’re okay with that.

#5: Enigmatic.

Your life and soul are full of contradictions, you have a very unstable mood, and you find it hard to deal with yourself, normally you don’t show the world much about yourself. You don’t take false steps, try to walk on firm floor most of the times, but you enjoy your mystifying and puzzling life!

#6: You are a sensitive soul.

You feel everything and forget nothing. You can be very well synchronized with the world. You have deep feelings, and sometimes the most little details can affect you, and at the same time when you laugh you feel wonderful and healed. You try not to show the world how fragile you are. You instead show people how astute and sharp you can be. You have a special eye for what’s gonna happen next, you can feel things coming.

#7: Fiery.

You’re very energetic or passionate. There’s nothing subtle about you… ever. You are the love or hate type. You have a ton of opinions, and you normally throw yourself into making really quick and drastic decisions. You try to hide your anxiety but you have a lot of energy, and you can be quite nervous. Everything is very high stakes for you. You sometimes can’t help making drama too quick.

#8: Eccentric.

You’re the type of person who has weird and unusual interests, thoughts, and practices. You’ve always been a bit of a freak. You don’t pay attention to rules or tradition. You always do things your way, whatever the consequences might be. You like to show the world how much of a weirdo you are and you don’t have anythign to hide. You really don’t care if people judge you. You wish everyone was more like you. It’s a good thing being a non-conformist.

#9: Intuitive.

You have a sixth sense to understand other people and the world. You can normally tell much from someone’s facial expressions or tone of voice. It is very difficult for someone to manipulate you. You show the world exactly what you want to show. You can express yourself really well, and you are an excellent listener. You have great understanding of where you are and what you want.
